10/12 Prepare Your Heart for Sunday Worship

Messiah graphic (1)

TITLE: “1 Man – 4 Views”

TEXT:  Matthew 27:37;  Mark 10:45;  Luke 19:10;  John 3:16

IN A NUTSHELL -The story of Jesus is not just history. Jesus is a four dimensional character in what is commonly viewed as a three dimensional society.  Four historical accounts of an interactive God/Man.  He started out surprising man and continues to do so.  Just because the story seems unimaginable, doesn’t’ mean it isn’t believable.  Trusting Jesus is like a roller coaster on steroids!

A few questions to consider:

  1. Looking at the key texts: Matthew 27:37;  Mark 10:45;  Luke 19:10;  John 3:16 How  would the uniqueness of the author’s backgrounds make these biblical statements full of meaning? Matthew, Mark, Luke, John
  2. Why do you believe that Jesus’ lived, died, rose again, and is in heaven at the Father’s right hand?
  3. Why were the gospels written? John 20:31; Luke 1:1-4
  4. What do these people have in common the Samaritan woman– Jn. 4:1-45, Joesph of Arimethea-Mk. 15:43, Nathaniel – Jn 1:43-51, Thomas –Jn. 20:19-31?
